Did you know that the fastest growing opportunities to make money with your music is in the video games industry? And did you know that it’s also the most lucrative? Over 3000 video games are produced every year, and they all need music! This is an event you'll not want to miss. Featuring the most famous games composer in the world --Tommy Tallarico -- top games manager Bob Rice, and IndieSpace Founder and CEO Jeannie Novak. You’ll see how composers score for video games, learn how much you can make, and learn how you can break into the market. And yes, if you fill out the L*A*M*P survey, you’ll get in for half price (only $50 for the whole day!).
The opportunity of the year to meet top composers, learn how to score for video games, and pitch your music to top games audio directors!

The event will cover all major business, creative and technical aspects of this mysterious industry. Top composers, games execs, and authors will show participants how to:
  • Identify the trends and opportunities in the video games market
  • Score music to video games in Cinespace’s exclusive screening room
  • Explore potential revenue in the fastest growing segment of the music industry (over 3,000 new games a year!)

Panelists and speakers include:
  • Tommy Tallarico, CEO and founder of G.A.N.G., the Games Audio Network Guild. Tommy Tallarico has scored over 200 video games, and is one of the most famous games composers in the world.
  • Bob Rice, CEO of Four Bars Intertainment (FBI), the world's largest music provider for the gaming industry. Four Bars Intertainment (FBI) represents some of the most talented music composers in the world.

  • Tim Langdell, Ph.D., Faculty/Chair Games Curriculum Cmttee, Information Technology Program, University of Southern California
  • More panelists being added daily!
All participants will be given the opportunity to pitch their instrumental music to top audio directors and games agents for possible placement in the latest new games. Bring your best instrumental tracks (30 seconds – 1.5 minutes) for review and critique! Preregistered attendees get priority for the pitch. We'll dedicate an hour to the pitch...bring two 30-second snippets or one 60 second snippet. We suggest upbeat, "video game" type stuff. Depending on how many people are there, we'll try to get through as much as possible.

A complimentary breakfast is included; and lunch will be provided from Cinespace’s tantalizing menu for $10, not including drinks. Check out their burgers, sandwiches, salads, and grilled pizzas!

Registration is easy! Just go to L*A*M*P's secure registration site at www.acteva.com/go/lamp. Admission is $75, or $50 for L*A*M*P affiliate members. Don't procrastinate!
